Hey guys we have a sweet method for applying your primary desktop to any monitor that the mouse is displayed on just using a Keyboard shortcut. You can make it whatever you like but we went with CTRL+ALT+P. Desktop icons usually move over too when triggered so long as the displays haven't been too scrambled, hope some of you find this useful. We use it for all of our windows servers now because it works so well.
1. Download from my DropBox ZIPHERE. 2. Double click "Install.bat" and it should walk you through the process. 3. Otherwise to install manually Run "makeprimarymonitorsetup-v1.0.1.msi" or can be manually downloaded HERE. 4. Open an explorer window to "C:\programdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" and copy the shortcut in the "Shortcut" folder from my ZIP to replace the one from the install OR EDIT the shortcut with your own command in the Shortcut section of the link Properties. We use CTRL+ALT+P to reassign the primary display. 5. That's it, once you reboot, windows should apply the shortcut to the OS every time it logs in.
I currently use the XS712T for all my shows that require 10GBe switches. Netgear link below for the full lineup. We see speeds of up to 1.4GBps thats about 500GB in 10min. We used a QNAP NAS RAID0 and 2 10GBe ports to the 12 port NetGear.
It's just one of those things when you're on show site and you get a rental unit that has v4.0 and v4.1, because the older install wasn't removed properly. I had v4.2.2 but still needed to update DataPath drivers and didn't have an internet connection at the time. Just one less thing to worry about having, but I'll just keep it on me with everything.
I always save the PPT to WMV, directly from Power Point, then re-encode the video and put it on a timeline or cue on console. As for the timer you can make one with content and assign to an output.
There is a countdown generator but it works off the system clock, Would be cool if there was a Countdown Timer with the same parameters as countdown (TSec, TMin, THour) but add an animation parameter to start the countdown, speed up or slow down.
Hey guys I notice the thirdparty folder is still floating around in the ProgramFiles is it ever going to have the thirdparty driver like we're used to or is that something that will be directly downloadable with the release in the box folder?
