'No connection to target' message or blank windows in ZooKeeper Posted by Nick Charalampidis on 29 August 2014 02:57 PM
Summary: The windows in Zookeeper all show "No Connection To Target" or are blank with numbers on the title bar. The no Connection to target or blank windows appear when the Zookeeper cannot locate the Hippotizer engine that was being used in this window.
Example: If you have 3 machines on-line and accessible from Zookeeper and you are editing Hippotizer 2 and this one goes offline, the Zookeeper can no longer see this Hippotizer it can no longer display the interface for this Hippotizer.
Solution: If you have a Hippotizer Engine and Zookeeper running on the same machine. Start by pressing the 4/8 Layer default buttons at the top of the Zookeeper. This will refresh the windows and attempt to connect to the local Hippotizer Engine.
If the interface still shows no connection to target check in the HippoNet Overview. Can you see your local engine? If you cannot you may have the Engine connected to one network port and the Zookeeper connected to the other. In this instance go to settings>network settings within the Zookeeper. Select another network connection. This will then be on the same network as the Engine and allow you to access the interface of that Engine.
